Copyright Policy
Effective and last updated: September 4, 2026.
Yapaa users must own or have permission to submit the content they share. We respond to sufficiently complete notices of alleged copyright or other intellectual-property infringement in accordance with applicable law.
Submit an infringement notice
Email copyright@yapaa.co and include:
- your name and reliable contact details;
- identification of the protected work or right;
- identification and location of the allegedly infringing content, including the Yapaa username and relevant date where available;
- an explanation of your rights and why the use is not authorized;
- a good-faith statement that the information in the notice is accurate and that you are the rights holder or authorized to act for them; and
- your physical or electronic signature where required by applicable law.
Do not send more personal information than is needed to evaluate the notice. We may share a notice with the person who submitted the content so they can understand and respond to the claim.
Our response
We may request missing information, restrict or remove content, notify the person who submitted it, preserve relevant records, and restrict repeat infringers. A notice does not guarantee removal where the claim is incomplete, invalid, or the use is lawful.
Respond to a removal
If your content was removed for alleged infringement and you believe the decision was mistaken, email copyright@yapaa.co from your account email. Identify the removed content and decision, explain your basis for using the content, and include any declaration required in your jurisdiction. We may forward the response to the claimant and restore content where permitted.
Misuse
Knowingly submitting a false or abusive notice or response may have legal consequences and may violate Yapaa's Terms of Service.
